Skydance Pedestrian Bridge
Swanda is ”flying high” as part of the Skydance Pedestrian Bridge Project Team for the City of Oklahoma City. This bridge was inspired by the Oklahoma scissor-tailed flycatcher and will be a pedestrian walkway to connect downtown Oklahoma City to the Oklahoma River. Swanda is pleased to be a part of what is sure to be an Oklahoma landmark.
Swanda has been selected by W&W Steel to provide the fabrication of specialty stainless steel for the Scissortail sub structure and feathers covering the 200 foot long and 185 foot tall structure that straddles the new I-40 highway. We are participating in an extremely aggressive schedule to complete this structure before Christmas 2011.
