Swanda specializes in Jet Engine Test Cells.
In the 1950’s, test cell design pioneer Charlie Phillips of Wright-Patterson Air force Base in Ohio encouraged then owner/president Vernon Swanda to expand the company into the field of acoustical panel manufacturing. Swanda Brothers is honored to be the first company in the United States to fabricate the acoustical portion of a test cell project. In the 1960’s, Swanda fabricated all of the acoustical panels for the four original C-5 test cells built by the United States Air Force. Swanda Brothers continues to be one of the leaders in the acoustical enclosure manufacturing industry.
